Willow Avenue Mennonite Church values belonging, inquiring, and transforming. To foster our inquiring, Brian DiPalma will be teaching a 6-week course meeting 5/22 - 6/26 on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm called (Re)Imagining Jesus. Short readings from Marcus Borg’s book Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time will help prepare for each class session will be discussed based. Discussion topics will include things like from Jesus to the gospels and back again, the radical teachings of Jesus, and political rebels and crucifixion in the Roman Empire.
