High School
Our High School Group at College Community Church encourages students to grow in the experience and knowledge of the Good News of Jesus Christ. We seek to cultivate a loving, accepting, and challenging discipleship community that loves God and neighbor.

- We focus on reading the Scriptures together helping students engage with the Bible on its own terms. We resist giving youth easy answers, because we believe that discipleship is a lifetime endeavor.
- Our hope is that each member of the group comes to know Jesus personally and enters into a journey of Christian discipleship. We read the Bible together, intercede for each other, journal, take retreats together and eat together. We serve each other, our church and our wider community.
- Youth at College Community are integrated into the larger community of faith through worship, service, fellowship and discipleship. As seventh graders each youth receives an adult Mentor from within the congregation – someone to talk to and stay connected with. The youth plan and lead at least one Sunday worship service per year. Youth are active participants on service trips from our congregation and serve in capacities of service within the church (many times in children’s ministries). While we recognize the need for youth to grow in Christ with others their own age, we also believe that the witness of the larger church community is vital to a maturing understanding of the Gospel.
Our high school youth meet:
- Sundays at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School
- Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for fellowship and discipleship
- Monthly for service opportunities
- Annually for a service and learning trip or the national youth conference
- And for other in-depth discipleship experiences
