The Supportive Care Commission meets regularly to initiate and implement supportive care models for persons with chronic, long-term conditions or developmental disabilities. They also serve as a resource for education and awareness within the congregation on behalf of persons and families dealing with long-term conditions.
The Friendship Class, one of the ministries supported by the Supportive Care Commission, provides a place to belong for developmentally-challenged adults. With the guidance of Theresa, they meet every Sunday during the education hour to sing, laugh, share, pray and read the Bible together.
